Assembly is never a concern with Pragma BedTM bases: no tools are required to put one together. All you need to do is pull it out of the box, unfold it, and place it in its designated space. If you wish to store your Pragma BedTM frame, just fold it up and hide it away. All bed frames, except the twin-sized frame, come in packages of two bed frames that once joined make up their desired bed size. This means that for a queen-sized bed, our customer will receive two bed frames that have the following dimensions when combined: 30.25" x 23" x 10.75", 36.8 lbs. Lightweight, strong, and easy to assemble: that's a Pragma BedTM.

Will never go back to regular boxsprings again! (2010-03-22)
This item is truly a godsend for those whose regular boxspring is too large to fit up stairs, especially in older buildings and homes. You can't get any easier than unfolding and folding for portability and ease of use. It is extremely comfortable with just my pillowtop latex matress, and I have not noticed any sagging since sleeping on it for a few nights now. The steel frame is very sturdy, and there is a good number of horizontal crossbars for extra support. If I upgrade my guest bedroom bed to a queen-size, I'll be getting another one of these. Do check prices, though, as Amazon has another for forty dollars cheaper.

Sturdy and easy to move. I bought the queen, and it comes in two parts. Each part is pretty light and a breeze to move/setup. The frame is sturdy and does not squeak or sway. The welding is smooth and overall excellent quality. No box spring and cumbersome frame to move. I definitely recommend it for other apartment dwellers.

The only concern we had when we bought it was that it would make our bed too low, but that isn't the case at all. It actually gives you a lot more room under the bed than a standard bedframe and boxspring setup.

the perfect solution (2010-01-18)
We bought this because we live in a historic home that has too narrow of a staircase to get a box springs upstairs. This worked because it could be assembled in our bedroom. What i didn't expect was that it would be so comfortable and such a great solution for good sleeping. It is firm but not rigid and it is quiet and doesn't squeak. We are extremely satisfied.
